One of Montenegro’s most recognizable and magnificent vistas may be found at the Kotor Fortress. The entire town of Kotor, the Bay of Kotor, and the surrounding mountains are visible from the fortress’s summit.

The climb to the fortress takes an hour with challenging sections, narrow walkways, and steep steps. A panoramic view of the harbor and the town awaits you at the summit, making the ascent worthwhile.

The town’s red rooftops, the bay’s turquoise seas, and the far-off green mountains can all be seen from the fort.
