An enchanting evening of traditional klapa music, titled “Piva klapa ispo’ volta”, is set to take place on Friday, September 20th, at 8 PM, in the Piazza of St. Tryphon, Kotor.
What is Klapa?
Klapa is a form of traditional a cappella singing originating from the Dalmatian region of Croatia. It is characterized by harmonious male or female vocal groups performing without instrumental accompaniment, often focusing on themes of love, the sea, and homeland.
Participating Klapa Groups
The event will feature performances by:
- Gašler and Maris (Kotor)
- Beleca and Jadran (Tivat)
- Kastel Nuovo (Herceg Novi)
- Special guests: Ivo Lozica (Korčula), winners of the Omiš Festival.

This magical evening of music is organized by Klapa Maris, supported by the Nikola Đurković Cultural Center, Kotor Tourism Organization, and Kotor Municipality.
