Due to forecasted severe weather, the much-anticipated Winter Kotor Carnival 2024 has been postponed. Originally set for Sunday, February 25, the carnival will now light up the city on March 3.
Carnival Festivities Continue
Despite the delay, the carnival spirit remains undimmed, with key events proceeding as planned.
Masquerade Ball: A Night of Enchantment

- Entertainment: “Toć” ensemble and “Asa Voce” klapa
This event promises an unforgettable evening of music, dance, and vibrant costumes.
Costume Contest: Unleash Your Creativity
The carnival’s costume contest boasts a generous prize fund of 3,800 euros, divided across categories:
- Individual Masks
- First Place: 400 euros
- Second Place: 300 euros
- Third Place: 200 euros
- Group Masks
- First Place: 900 euros
- Second Place: 700 euros
- Third Place: 500 euros
- Audience Prize: 800 euros
